Watercolor to Digital transformation (My Artwork Pt4)

in cintiq13hd •  7 years ago  (edited)

Whereas watercolor is my strong point and I have been painting with it for about 10 years now, digital illustration is something completely new to me. So far I've been sharing artwork chronologically but i'm going to do a little skip over here...
I'm currently taking old illustrations of mine, painted several years back and modifying them on photoshop on my Cintiq 13HD Wacom tablet. I'm mainly using those that have a cool idea behind them but whose watercolor technique is not top, such as the illustration I've shared below (which wasn't even scanned properly so the picture looks very dim)

First of all i'm going to show you the final modified by Cintiq version....

And here below is the original watercolor illustration which must have been drawn around 2012...plus minus two years i believe....

And in addition (!!) Below I've recorded a short video to show how the transformation began.... (apologies for the filmora watermark, i still have to purchase the programme for the water not to be present)
