My entry today for #cityscapephotography by @juliank is shot from Taipe, Taiwan, when we took a quick trip there last year.
My first impression of Taipei was: very clean and organized. The traffic is also very orderly. Quite a difference from crazy traffic here in Manila. A lot of people can understand and speak very good English, which made it a lot easier for us.
The only less-than-good thing for a cheap traveller like me was, how expensive evrything seemed! We took an Uber car and paid about $30 USD for an 18-minute ride to the airport. We also ordered from our hotel, a dinner meal, a clam chowder (which btw made my son sick), and a hamburger and the dinner cost us $100+ USD.
It was a quick 1-day layover trip so we didnt really get much done, but we're thankful we got to see a little bit of Taipei, but will definitely plan it better if we decide to visit again.
