Emotions can blur clarity.

I hardly feel conflicted about things. Usually i know where i stand and i act in accordance with my principles. Yet i found myself in a situation where i just didn't know what the next right move was. Because no good deed goes unpunished, doing what i believe to be right, would probably have caused even more problems.

In this particular case, i was certain of the judgement. I wasn't not basing it on my bias opinion, but on facts. My efforts in overcoming this so called conflict should be directed to something that will be effective in eliminating the disruption.

When something is inherently rooted, there is nothing you can change about it. So i decided to focus on that which i have control over, and i can actually change for the better. The one thing i knew i must do was make reasoned choices. That meant that i had to go against what my will wanted me to do.

Emotions can blur clarity. Knowing that, and accepting that not everything is whiten your control, will make your life easier. Following the cycle of serenity makes me calm. My mind is at ease and because i have the clarity to distinguish what i am actually dealing with, i found that the problem wasn't mine. So there was no reason for me to get all exited. If the problem is not for me to deal with, i get to step away. That is exactly what i did.
