Chorale Prelude: Old Hundredth - Graham Twist

in classical-music •  3 years ago

Graham Twist wrote this short chorale prelude on the famous "Old Hundredth" hymn tune and dedicated it to Ausra Motuzaite (Vidas Pinkevicius' wife). I associate this tune with the hymn "All people that on earth do dwell". Swell Vox did a great rendition of the Ralph Vaughan Williams setting

I recorded this on the Hauptwerk sample set of Velesovo, sampled by Sonus Paradisi.
