Do you want to know about the Top 10 Web Hosting Sites in 2020 and beyond? As an entrepreneur online for 8 years, I understand how important it is to have an outstanding website host and I've tested so many different hosts.
I've done it wrong so many different times. You will find this post so helpful for you to save thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of time just fooling around doing it on your own. I recommend you read all 10 different options.
That way, you can find out which host matches your specific needs. Clearly, every single different host I present here is ideal for a certain type of user and the key is to match yourself and say which one am I?
If you need a little help with that, just drop a comment and say, “Jerry, this is what I'm doing”. Tell me as much as you can about what you're doing and I'm happy to give you a personalized recommendation for which host I think you will find the most helpful.
The objective of this post is to get you on the fastest host and the most profitable website based on your unique situation and what you need your web host to do. Thus, let's get into the top 10 web hosting sites for 2020 and beyond.
#1 is Hostinger
Hostinger gives you a very fast and affordable hosting, which is critical if you want to rank high in search engines. You need fast hosting and if you are starting out in your business, affordability is often one of the most critical elements.
There are easy installations which are important if you don't have much development experience. You can easily launch your first website on Hostinger. I'm very grateful Hostinger sponsored this post which has given them the first placement here and I will tell you a little bit more about Hostinger looking on their website.
As you can see, they've done a speed test with another provider. 141 ms load time vs 492 ms load time. I'm obsessed with speed because I understand what a big difference speed makes for your website getting ranked higher in search results.
This is the #1 site out of the top 10 web hosting sites.
What’s incredible is that Hostinger can offer fast hosting at such a low cost for only 99 cents a month. That is incredible.
Use the code “Jerry” for 91% off yearly plans by going to hostinger.com/jerry.
If you've got more websites you want to use, it’s $2.59/month for 100 websites. This is absolutely incredible. I love that Hostinger gets 10,000 new signups a day with 29M users and 15,000 websites being launched a day.
They are global. They started off in 2004 and just bootstrap their way up and that is inspiring to me. Hostinger also has an affiliate program where you can earn at least 60% from every sale which means when you set up a website and people start asking, “Hey, how'd you build a website?” Then you can tell them and earn from that.
Hostinger asked me to focus on WordPress hosting because WordPress is a top content management system online and Hostinger does a lot of work to get the best to optimize WordPress experience for you.
I'm very grateful Hostinger was kind enough to sponsor my video and with looking at Hostinger as the number one option now, we are ready to look at the next 9 options.

#2 is Kinsta
This is the hosting I use on my website because it is for high traffic WordPress on the Google cloud platform. At jerrybanfield.com, I get thousands of visits every single day and I never know when I might go viral and get a million visits in a single day.
I researched for years and chose Google’s cloud platform. I found Kinsta 3 years ago. You can take a look at Kinsta yourself and help me earn a little bit as an affiliate. Kinsta is obsessed with speed just like Hostinger.
It costs much more. It's a much bigger investment at $400 a month for my website on Kisnta. This is the #2 site out of the top 10 web hosting sites.
The reason I put that in with Kinsta is that if my website goes viral given it is on the Google cloud, Kinsta will not miss a beat. I can get million-page visits in a day and not crash my website and that is really important to me.
I might get $1,000, $2,000 or $5,000 bill from that, but it's important that I don't miss any traffic. Therefore, if you've got very high traffic on a WordPress website that you could go viral at any time and you can't stand to miss a page view from your website crashing, Kinsta may work very well for you.
#3 is Cloudways
If you want the same kinds of benefits of being on the cloud that I just talked about with Kinsta, you will want to take a look at Cloudways at jerry.tips/cloudways. They were kind enough to sponsor a different video and that's how I discovered them.
They currently did not sponsor this one. I put them in there because Cloudways has 5 different cloud providers you can host on which is absolutely outstanding for giving you access to Amazon Web Services, Google cloud platform or alternatives that are more affordable than either of those.
Cloudways gives you the ability to put many different kinds of the website on the top infrastructures for hosting and allows you to have a lot of flexibility in doing that. For example, you can copy over and change cloud structures if you want to and for this reason, I think Cloudways is ideal if you are managing lots of high traffic websites with different content management systems.
It is also ideal if you need to move clients among different servers or your clients are insisting that you use these certain cloud providers. Cloudways is an outstanding option like Kinsta except there is a lot more flexibility and less specialization than Kinsta does specific focus on WordPress in the Google cloud platform.
This is the #3 site, out of the top 10 web hosting sites.
Use the code “JBF” if you want 20% Off of your plan.
#4 is Thinkific.
You can get there at THNK.CC/JERRY. Thinkific is for hosting video courses.
If you want to make some serious money online hosting video courses, Thinkific is the number one way I've earned money online with millions of dollars in sales on video courses. Thinkific is what I use to host my video courses you can sell digital products, video courses, audiobooks, and more.
Uthena is hosted on Thinkific. If you use my link, you will be able to get $849 value for free which includes a month of the pro plan plus you can also get all these classes that will show you how to be successful with Thinkific.
This is the #4 site, out of the top 10 web hosting sites.
My website Uthena (A continuing Education Platform for Entrepreneurs) having 477 courses right now is hosted with Thinkific which is on Amazon Web Services or AWS. I pay $500 a month for Thinkific hosting and it's soon going to go to $1,000.
If you want to make the most money, this is a much bigger investment compared to something else. Thus, it is a big investment as I just said but it can have a big payoff if you are able to sell video courses that I have been able to do and I've got a lot more YouTube videos on my channel that show you how to sell video courses.
#5 is Ezoic
Ezoic is an outstanding option if you want to increase your advertising earnings, you can use this with an existing host. For example, you can use Hostinger to set your website up, get everything in position, get traffic to it and then if desired, you can put Ezoic on top of it.
That means you still have your website hosted on Hostinger but Ezoic then gets in the middle of that and serves the ads for you and has artificial intelligence-powered machine learning algorithms that test all kinds of different positions for ads on your website to give you the best earnings.
I've consistently seen reported increases in earnings from 20% to 100%+ using things like Adsense and other Google ad networks. Ezoic does have the option to host your website on their platform as well.
Although that seems new, it seems ideal to set your website up on something like Hostinger first and then you can put it on Ezoic when everything is in position for ad earnings. This is the #5 site, out of the top 10 web hosting sites.
What I love about Ezoic is that they were able to make it really easy. I set up my website on Ezoic and they made it really easy to get all kinds of different ad placements within my website. I chose after testing it to take it off of Ezoic and just leave it on Kinsta because, for me, I make more money on my website just selling my own stuff.
I have so many things to sell on my website. There's no reason for me to have banner ads on top of it. It detracts from my user experience since I have so many memberships, so much content and many things to sell, it doesn't make sense.
However, if you don't have a whole bunch of things to sell but you've got a plan to get traffic to your website, Ezoic is an outstanding way to monetize that or if you've already got a website with traffic and just want to increase the earnings, you can do it that way.
If you're kind enough to use my link, they'll give me a small percentage of their portion of the earnings.
Ezoic makes money by taking a portion of your earnings. You hardly need to pay anything for Ezoic. They take a percentage of your ad earnings.
#6 is Leadpages.
If nothing so far sounds just right to you or if you just want to make some affordable landing pages, Leadpages is ideal.
If you think you don't want an entire website, you just need to try and convert some leads into sales or build an email list, something like Leadpages can be very helpful. I have used Leadpages for years. I tested it out and my personal opinion is I'd rather focus on creating content, videos, blog posts, etc.
I personally don't use anybody else's Leadpages. These seem very popular. If I find somebody's lead page, I almost never actually click the button or sign up. However, this seems to work really well for other people.
I was able to test a few formats that converted for myself. You can take a look at Leadpages. They've got outstanding amounts of templates and support. There's a lot you can do with Leadpages. This is the #6 site, out of the top 10 web hosting sites.
If you use jerry.tips/leadpages, you'll be able to hook me up with that as well and get yourself a 30% discount.
#7 is Click Funnels
If you want something more comprehensive and you've seen other people offering 500 plus dollar coaching programs with a landing page, testimonials, and videos, there's a good chance it was on Click Funnels.
Click Funnels can get you from having a single landing page all the way over to delivering your online course all in one system. You've probably seen lots of ads for this by Russell Brunson before. I have seen a bunch of ads for it.
I've never used this myself. However, my friend Joe Paris is building his own page like this. This is an example of Click Funnels. If you want to have something like this, Click Funnels cost currently $97 a month minimum or $297 a month.
This is why I presented Leadpages first. Leadpages cost a lot less than Click Funnels and you can do a lot of the same things. This is the #7 site, out of the top 10 web hosting sites.
One difference is that you can set Click funnels up and host your course all on the same system which means if you want to deliver a full product, you can put it all on Click Funnels.
You can have your landing page, sales page, conversion, upsell and then you can deliver the product all-in-one system without having to put multiple things together.
For example, you can use Leadpages and then use Thinkific to host the actual course itself. You can use Leadpages to make the sale or to get the email signup. Then you can deliver it with Thinkific.
However, on Click Funnels, you can do it all together. I've put my friend Joe Parys’s affiliate link. You can help him earn since I don't have a Click Funnels affiliate at the moment.
Thus, if you want to just build a single page like this, as you can see, this page I imagine converts very well for Click Funnels given all the data they have and everything they can do. If you want to make a really high converting single page like this, Click Funnels can be great for you.
#8 is Shopify
If you want to sell physical products or you want to put up an online store, Shopify seems to be the very best hosting that you can get in terms of giving you the ability to sell anything.
Shopify says they have $100B+ in sales. Shopify is integrated with almost everything you can sell anywhere, anything. You can do physical and digital products. However, for the digital products, I believe you may need something if you're doing a video course, you may need to use Vimeo to deliver depending on the format.
The beauty of Shopify is the flexibility and all of the different possibilities. You can sell things directly on Facebook. It's got a ton of different integrations that you can do with Shopify. All of these stores you've seen online that are selling physical products, I imagine are powered by Shopify.
Shopify costs significantly more. If you look at the pricing on Shopify, it's a minimum of $29 a month, but for a lot of other features, you're going to need a $79 or a $300 a month package. That depends on whatever discounts they have. This is the #8 site, out of the top 10 web hosting sites.
You also have credit card rates on Shopify and there are additional fees if you use payment providers other than Shopify. If you really want to sell physical products and/or digital products, it is ideal.
#9 is Squarespace
Squarespace is great if you want a DIY blog and e-commerce solution in a very simple manner.
Squarespace allows you to build some beautiful templates. What's nice about Squarespace is if you just want to start a website, have a blog and sell stuff, it seems that it's easy to do that directly on Squarespace.
If you compare it with something like Shopify, Squarespace has a fraction of the features and integrations that something like Shopify does. If you compare it to something like WordPress, it has a fraction of the capabilities that WordPress does.
However, if you want something that's just simple and beautiful, for example, if you're an artist, you want to be able to sell your paintings, just have a beautiful website and a blog up with relatively low effort, Squarespace can be a good option for that. This is the #9 site, out of the top 10 web hosting sites.
#10 is Google Sites
If you want a website that has the absolute lowest cost and runs fast, try Google Sites.
This is why I've not included any other providers that are free. I started off with Google Sites after I chose a very bad hosting provider that was really slow. I switched to Google Sites. It was the second hosting provider I used.
Google Sites is 100% free and it's lightning-fast because it's hosted by Google. It's truly free. You never need to pay for anything. There's one big IF as with many hosting providers, the functionality on Google Sites is extremely limited.
There's not even basic content management lots of times which means if you want a really fast site and you just want to put a blog up or something simple up, Google Sites can be a good way to go. This is the last and free site out of the top 10 web hosting sites.
I made thousands of dollars in sales just by putting images, PayPal buttons and taking people through sales pages on Google Sites. Thus, if you truly want a 100% free option that is fast, Google Sites can be good for you if you're willing to go through the trouble of learning Google's content management system and having almost no integration with anything else.
I appreciate you reading this entire post. I hope it's been helpful to turn you on to the different possibilities in web hosting. I'm very grateful again for sponsorship by Hostinger.
You can get 91% off the yearly plans. You get an ideal combination of fast and affordable, and you have tons of integration and flexibility to build. You can build an e-commerce store on Hostinger. You can use things like WooCommerce which is a free plugin and sell physical products on Hostinger.
Hostinger has got a ton of flexibility for you.
I hope this was helpful to let you know what the best hosting options are. If for some reason this did not leave you feeling any more clear, if you'd like to ask me to look at some other options, if you have specific questions, go ahead and post a comment. I'll give you a response and try to point you in the right direction.
