"Your soul deserves the place to which it came
If having entered Hell, you feel no flame”
~Adam Mickiewicz
Once you see the ferocious and perfidious evil behind the mask, the perspective becomes a kind of decoder ring, a prism through which we can better view all the diabolical person's actions. I say "most" because even in the worst of us can be found some good.
Solzhenitsyn illuminated how “The line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either – but right through every human heart…even within hearts overwhelmed by evil, one small bridgehead of good is retained. And even in the best of all hearts, there remains…an uprooted small corner of evil."
In all the time that we've known the Clintons, we've seen many moments from Bill in which he seemed genuine, good, and even endearing. He is a tragic figure that could be redeemed. But with Hillary, I fail to remember a single of instance when she seemed genuinely good. Perhaps there have been moments with Chelsea when we witnessed a mother’s true love. But she’s used her as political prop so much that, combined with her trips to Epstein’s island to prey upon children, makes me think that (especially for a woman) she doesn’t even have the capacity for that kind of mothering love.
Nevertheless, final judgement is the Lord’s and he is merciful to penitent heart. He permits evil in the world so that goodness can rise to meet and oppose it.
