1. The clitoris is like an iceberg

We only see the tip, but inside there is much more: it surrounds the vaginal duct and extends towards the thighs. "The part we see and feel is the small gland that creates the head of the clitoris," says Wolf. "From there, all the magic is going under the surface."

2. Only at the tip of the clitoris are 8,000 nerve endings, twice as large as a penis

A clitoris consists of 18 different parts, a mixture of erectile tissue, muscle and nerves. "All those little pieces work together to create the incredible sensations that a clitoris person feels when they have an orgasm."

In fact, the vagina itself has barely any sensitivity. "Giving birth through something as sensitive as the clitoris would be extremely painful," says Wolf.

3. They can grow up to 300%

The clitoris has a size between 7 and 12 cm long and can swell from 50 to 300% when stimulated. It's not something "from zero to one hundred" says Wolf, but when you approach orgasm, its size increases.

When they are at rest, the clitoral "arms" stretch to your thighs, but when stimulated, they curl and "give your inner body a little hug."

4. G-spot orgasms and penetration are also clitoral

Yes, surprise: these orgasms are also achieved by stimulating internal parts of the clitoris. "You can run from different points, but they are all using the clitoris differently," Wolf explains.
