Cloud computing is about moving computing from the single desktop pc/data centers to commercial service providers on the Internet. It refers to flexible self service, network accessible computing resource pools that can be allocated to meet demand.Three delivery models of cloud computing are:

A.Saas(Software as a service)
Saas gives users the capability to use
applications supplied by service provider
tl but allows no control of the
platform or the infrastructure.

b. Paas(Platform as a Service):
PaaS gives the capability to
deploy consumer-created or
acquired programming languages and
tools supported by the provider.

c. IaaS(Infrastructure as a
Service):
IaaS allows the user to deploy and run
arbitrary software, which can include
operating systems and applications.
nd the thing to remember is that
this is possible only through the
term "virtualization". Virtualization
architecture provides this illusion
a hypervisor/VMM.
Hypervisor/VMM is a software
layer which: Allows multiple
Guest OS (Virtual Machines) to run simultaneously on a single
physical host and provides hardware
abstraction to the running Guest
OSs and efficiently multiplexes
underlying hardware resources.
