Today I will share with you a detailed news about the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko officially authorized the free movement of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in Belarus and signed a related decree.
First of all, this news is pleasing, while many countries are trying to restrict bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, the fact that Belarus does not add any restrictions will positively affect the crypto money market.
I have told you before from my personal account that Russia wants to ban bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining, likewise Hungary wants to ban bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining (even Hungary European Union would be right to ban it), and most recently, cryptocurrency regulation and decisions in India. I did not share detailed news about it. Those who have not read this news before can read it by clicking the link below. 🙂
Now I will give information about the decree signed by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and the current news on the free movement of cryptocurrencies.
Decree No. 48 “On registration of Virtual Wallet addresses and circulation of cryptocurrencies” was shared on the official Presidential website of the Republic of Belarus, and it was officially announced that this decree was signed and accepted.
In this decree, it is written that unlike other countries that ban bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, Belarus legally allows the circulation of cryptocurrencies (in areas such as investment, trading, transfer). Among the important information written in the decree, it is written that Belarus wants to protect crypto money investors and they are trying to develop the legal regulations in the best way for investors.
It has been added that the abusers of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies (such as terrorism, illegal finance, smuggling, money laundering) will be followed in the best way. Additionally, the government will be able to seize the crypto assets of criminals. You can see all the information about the official statement by clicking the link below. With this development, we see that Belarus will become a crypto money-friendly and investor-friendly country. I am very happy with this decision, because the more countries accept and try to regulate it in the best way instead of banning it, the more bitcoin + cryptocurrencies will develop. In order for cryptocurrencies to become one of the most used transfer tools in the future, we need new countries that adopt legal regulations.
Belarus also started mining bitcoin with its unused electricity infrastructure in 2021. I think this decision of Belarus will affect Russia, one of its most important allies, to a large extent. ⚡️₿
Do you think Russia will take Belarus as an example in this regard? Which country would you like to declare cryptocurrencies legal?
Do you think Russia is the next legal and regulatory country? 🙂
Bitcoin is currently trading at $40.4K, down 8.27% in the last 24 hours.
