Today I am going to share with you a post that gives you detailed information on what are the most common mistakes Steemit Newbies make and what newbies should avoid doing.
I started Steemit in May 2018 and after about 2 months I will complete my 4th year here, which is very pleasing. Since September 2020, I have been working to develop the SteemFoods Community, the food and cooking platform I built on steem blockchain, so I could easily see what the most common mistakes new users make during this period.

2️⃣ One of the best ways to practice and learn on Steemit is to complete all of the Achivement Tasks on NewComer's Community. Users generally do not prefer to complete Achivement Tasks after Achivement 1 (Personal Introduction Post).

3️⃣ If you have read and understood the entire NewComer's Guide above, you will not make this mistake, but many newcomer's content includes photos containing Plagiarism + Copyright. As an example, you can see the post prepared by the new user, who shared a post in the SteemFoods Community, with photos he/she found on the internet and sentences that do not belong to him/her.
The biggest mistake is when users try to monetize the easy way, don't do it. Nobody wants to vote for your post with photos and sentences belonging to someone else. You must improve yourself.( As an extra, this is not just a platform established to make money. This is Web3.0 social media built on a blockchain. Compared to other social media tools, the biggest difference of steemit is to contribute to the revenue generation of content producers. If you do not expect an income for your content on Instagram, twitter or facebook, do not expect this here and try to produce content. Don't lose your motivation... ⏱🎯)
4️⃣ Steemit is a platform that takes time and patience, so you should dedicate at least a few hours a day to steemit in your life. The longer you stay active, the higher your chances of success will be. As your active time decreases, your chances of success will also decrease. It will be useful to review the post I shared below.

5️⃣ You should realize the importance of the tags you will use in your post. For example, the steem-exclusive tag indicates that your content is exclusive to steemit only. The food tag findicates that the content you have prepared is related to food and cooking. You should try to learn the most appropriate tags to use in your post.
6️⃣ It will be very useful for your development if you buy about $100 worth of STEEM from the exchange, then transfer it to your steemit wallet and Power Up. Although many users learn all the information about steemit, they only expect votes and do not invest. If you make an initial investment instead, you will be welcomed by both the users and the steemit team, and your development will accelerate. 9️⃣Use your own photos and sentences. Produce content by maximizing the quality of your post. Instead of a few photos and very few, prepare your post in the most understandable and interesting way. You should learn Steemit Markdown codes.
🔟You can review the authors who received votes from the Steemcurator team and their content. You should interact with different content by voting and commenting. Many newbies only vote on their own posts (self-vote), which is one of the biggest mistakes...
