Hello Steemit Team and the Community!

Designed with Canva

I am Muhammad Faisal (@mohammadfaisal) and I would like to apply as a Club Mentor for the Technology Learning Club in Season 23 of the Steemit Learning Challenge.

First of all I want to thank the Steemit Team for bringing new and innovative ideas for the growth and increased engagement of the platform and these new additions will surely remove the use of the AI for the participation posts as it is going to become completely practical. It is indeed the wonderful opportunity for the whole steemit community to contribute in this new innovative program. My expertise lies in Flutter application development.

Technology plays a crucial role in solving real-world problems. I am passionate about building practical applications that improve efficiency and user experience. As a Club Mentor I aim to guide and support developers working on projects related to:

Real-time feedback & issue tracking systems
Admin dashboards for monitoring and reporting
AI-powered text detection & language detection and translation
QR code generation and QR code scanning applications
Using machine learning for the extraction of the text from the images
Face detection and image labeling
Flutter-based mobile & web solutions

I believe in learning by doing, and I want to help participants improve their projects by providing technical guidance, best practices, and troubleshooting support.

My Experience & Expertise

I am a Flutter developer, specializing in mobile & web app development, AI integrations in the application using the built-in libraries and packages, and practical problem solving solutions.

  • Teaching & Development: I have been teaching Flutter development and guiding students in building real-world applications.

  • Real-World Projects: I have worked on OCR-based image text extraction, QR code systems, AI-powered translation tools, and interactive dashboards for tracking & managing issues.

  • Community Engagement: I actively participate in programming discussions and support learners in improving their coding skills.

I am committed to mentoring developers and sharing insights on how to build tech solutions efficiently.

How I Will Run the Learning Club

Weekly Mentor Post:
Each week I will share insights on a project I have completed or am currently working on covering Flutter, AI & ML integrations, dashboards and automation.

Reviewing & Feedback:
Participants can submit their own tech-related projects such as mobile apps, web tools, automation scripts and I will review, provide constructive feedback and guide them on improvements.

Encouraging Community Participation:
I will encourage peer-to-peer learning and motivate them to actively engage by providing feedback and suggestions on others projects.

My History on Steemit

I have been an active member of Steemit and I joined this amazing platform in 2018. I am contributing to the community in different aspects such as discussions, sharing knowledge and engaging with the community.

These are my current stats and I want to achieve great goals of having handsome steem power to support the quality content providers and want to contribute the platform more. This is the reason I converted all the steems which I got as a teacher to my steem power and I am continuously working hard to increase my steem power.

I believe that Steemit has great potential as a learning platform and I am excited to contribute to this initiative.

Why I Should Be Selected as a Club Mentor

  • Proven expertise in real-world tech applications.

  • Strong mentorship & teaching background in software development.

  • Hands-on guidance on AI and ML integration using libraries and packages, dashboards, QR code systems, and automation.

  • Commitment to community learning and active engagement.

I look forward to contributing to the Technology Learning Club and helping developers build real-world projects!

How I Will Ensure People Do Not Use AI for Homework Tasks

As a Club Mentor I will implement the following strategies to ensure that participants submit genuine, original work rather than relying on AI-generated content:

  • I will personally review code submissions and check for inconsistencies, redundant logic and AI-generated patterns.

  • Participants must explain their thought process, challenges, and debugging steps in their submissions. This ensures they understand the code rather than just copying AI-generated outputs.

  • I will use AI content detection tools to check for machine-generated text and code similarity.

  • I will ask students to demonstrate their code during feedback sessions, ensuring they truly understand their work.

  • The participants may be asked follow-up questions about their submissions. If they cannot explain key parts they will be asked to redo their work.

I am dedicated to ensuring fair learning practices in the club. By combining manual reviews, coding, AI detection, and ethical guidance. I will maintain a high standard of originality and genuine learning for all participants.

It will be useful if the Learning Clubs are run by two or three people with a range of skills.

Are there any other people you think would be ideal to run the Learning Club with you?

Hi @steemcurator01

I think in this learning club I should combine @kouba01 in this way we both can bring a range of the skills. We will combine the computer software problems and the development on the computers. In this way this club will be able to deal the computer related problems as well as we will guide the people about their projects such as websites, mobile applications. We both have experience in these things.

This is going to be a great learning club which is technology orientated and it has a variety of work. It will offer the basic knowledge which is the need of every person as well as guidance and practical implementations of the different technologies while the development of the applications.

Thank you.

Thank you for your response on this.

@kouba01 - what do you think about this?

@steemcurator01, I contacted Mohamed Faisal in Discord to dot the i's, I will give you an answer as soon as possible.

@steemcurator01, honestly, I couldn't find any connection between the two themes, which may impact the coherence of the competition content presented each week.

As I was asked for the range of skills that was why I thought to merge these two things. As an example in the first week in order to continue with the range of skills we can develop a combined post with two sections. And the steemians can take part any of their preferred part or in both and according to their entries we can give feedback.

Here I have combined some learning plan and a small roadmap how these two things can be run with a wide range of skills.

Week 1: Basic hardware components + software development
Week 2: OS Installation & Optimization + Issues reporting system
Week 3: Malware Removal & Security + Admin Dashboard with reports received and actions for admin
Week 4: BIOS/UEFI Configuration + Text Detection, QR Code Generator and scanner
Week 5: Data Recovery & Backups + Language translation and text to speech

On the other hand these two can also be run as separate learning clubs with a wide range of topics discussed in each one. Each subject has a wide and in-depth range.
