Let's talk Life: 10th year Anniversary of Sichuan Earthquake (四川地震十週年紀念)
What a coincidence that the Mother's Day this year happens to be on the same day as the 10th year anniversary of the devastating earthquake that happened in the southwest Sichuan province. How many mothers mourn for their lost sons or daughters today, and how many sons or daughters mourn for their lost mom (or dad) today?
今年母親節恰好發生在四川省西南地區發生的災難性地震10週年的同一天，真是巧合。今天有多少母親為失去的兒子或女兒哀悼，有多少兒子或女兒今天為失去的媽媽（或爸爸）而哀悼呢？
More than 87,000 were left dead or missing when the 8-magnitude quake struck Sichuan. I still remember we were in college at that time, studying in the US, totally shocked and stunned. A decade passed - new roads were built, new non-"tofu" buildings were built, but the mental and physical scars remain... I truly believe that only Jesus can heal.
四川發生8級地震時，超過87,000人死亡或失踪。我還記得當時我們在大學讀書，在美國留學，感到非常震驚和震驚。十年過去了 - 修建了新的道路，修建了新的非“豆腐”建築，但是身心傷痕仍然存在......我真的相信只有耶穌才能治愈。

十年前，我當年是青年商會的會長，帶著商會的會友，去到貴州資助建校。
那時，剛好是四川地震後數月，貴州於四川鄰近，更多是山區小學，4-5級防震的學校是那段時間最為重要的建設。
以往不知有多大重要性，只知這是一件善事，但四川地震後，每一個「非豆腐」建築，均相當重要。商會的會友們每年都會回去一間一間的探訪，一邊是探孩子，另一邊目的在於監察。
很多天災傷亡人數多，但往往人禍，令死傷者更多。
