If you ever want to become successful in whatever field you desire it won’t happen overnight. At least for the majority of us. You will have to keep climbing towards your goals without taking shortcuts and skipping steps. The key to all of that is nothing else then hard work, consistency and high level of self-motivation. You will not be able to raise straight to the top so take smaller steps towards your goal and do not be afraid to reward yourself on the way. Taking a small victory at a time will keep you motivated and going.

You're right! Nothing worth having comes to us easily. I have decided I want to put more time into my writing so I make a goal of writing at least 2,500 words a day in some context, whether it be an essay, blog, post, article or letter to a friend. Learning what motivates us to continue towards our goals helps to find what works best and what doesn't. I find that pushing myself to complete a task has been beneficial for me recently. I feel more productive when I can say I finished an essay even if it took me hours to complete. I know I spent my time doing what I love and feel passionate towards.
