从前世纪八十年代实行承包责任制以来,我们的山地都按人口分配各村各户自己管理,山区林木也葱郁茂盛起来,有杉树,各种杂木,竹类,其中以杉树占主要,其次是杂木,共约有几十种,自繁自育地生长,一茬接一茬,有的多年未伐,密密的相互制约,朝上越长越深,象竹子样,这些就是煤矿生产必须的木材,每年从村里运出的矿木有数万根,有效增加了乡村的经济活力。
待收购的矿木
因山谷路途狭窄坑洼,从山上伐下来的矿木只能用肩扛或独轮车送到公路旁待收,两米长的每根6元,单劳力每天平均只能出20多根,如承包代人砍伐山主得1元,这只是山主的一点象征性的回报,否则这些木材就要永远树立于山上。
劳动工要把一捆上百斤的矿木扛到几百至千米的外面去并非易事,用老式独轮车(我们本地叫鸡公车)也不失为一更好良策,独轮车一趟推两捆,用钢索缚于车臂两旁,车臂末端用绳索拴有一条扁担作肩挑用,双手握住车臂把手,保持车身平衡,目视车轮沿着一道来回碾出的辙沟推动前行,"支呀支呀"地震动得人体有种极难忍受的顿挫感,若如牵拽着大脑的每根感觉神经。我曾经有过这种感受,过木桥时如走钢丝,稍不留神,就有车货齐翻之险。

乡下人对这种鄙夷的工事已是轻车熟路,见奇不奇了。尽管于此,用独轮车比人工仍可省时省力,推到目地后,也不用急躁,静坐下来,吹一吹风,再抽会烟,驱逐一下辛劳过后的烦闷,不用干到晌午,不用觉到劳累,回家去擦掉一身的热汗,喝碗解渴的稀饭,任凭太阳停挂在天空,炙烤着弯弯的田埂小道,烤熟了蹭脚的草蔓,烤焦了湿滑的泥泞,待到下午时太阳赦去了残酷的烈焰,人们又可以重新出发,焕出强健体魄的燃烧新能量!
我们乡里人每天就是如此以苦作乐,做出劳动的价值,做出生活的滋味!
