Follow me to Werribee Mansion Park for Princess Dream to Come True 墨爾本華樂比莊園19世紀豪宅 公主圓夢之旅

People asked me: " What do you want to become when you grow up?" My answer was simple: "I want to be a princess." We went on an adventurous trip to explore the little castle in the fairy tale.

每個少女心中都隱藏小小的“公主夢”，而我也不例外。英雄@myday帶上我去到19中世紀古堡圓我一個公舉夢。

In just 30mins away from the Melbourne CBD in Victoria, we headed to the Mansion & Spa at the Werribee Park for an ethereal escape. Embarked on a spiritual retreat to be pampered at the Spa, explored the mystery of 19th century Werribee Park Mansion and visit the Werribee Local Range Zoo and check out the local brewery. In the brief history of Australia since the British settlement, revisiting the landmark of 19 Century Werribee Mansion is a vivid reminder of early Melbourne.

來到維省，不體驗一下維多利亞時代的建築又怎麼算是來過維省呢。離墨爾本市區大約30分鐘車程，我們來到了華倫比百年玫瑰園莊園。對於短短兩三百年歷史的澳洲，這個兩層豪宅也可還真算是古堡歷史見證。我們3天時間入住华勒比酒店和水疗馆，游遍了华勒比野生動物園和當地Shadowfax手工酒莊。

For the first time, we were staying at the Mansion Hotel & Spa in the 10 Acre Werribee Park. It's a modern hotel contains the spa, the lovely Joseph's Restaurant, ​and Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre. The hotel and the restaurant were​ absolutely packed, we found out that there's an International Three-Day​ Event for the retired horses to show jumping and dressage.

Going for a meander​ at the English Style Garden full of falling foliage in late autumn​. Sat by the lake on a bench looking at my beloved ugly ducking was all I wanted to do.

我們入住華倫比的酒店座落於10英畝美麗花園之中有馬術中心，歐式餐廳，水療館和游泳池。 酒店和餐廳都擠滿了人，原來維省賽馬局，在每年6月9-12號舉行國際一連三日退役賽馬地快步桿賽。我們漫步在深秋紅葉漫步的英式花園，在河畔欣賞我最愛的醜小鴨。

The special event attracts a flock of international guests to the hotel. We arrived at the restaurant and we could instantly feel the old fashioned charm of the Werribee Mansion. Even though we needed to book for the restaurant, we were very happy to sit right next to the fireplace for a few bubbly drinks prior to our dinner.

國際一連三日的盛世引來了一大幫遊客，酒店和餐定都要預定。 一進入餐廳，就迅速感覺到古老的特色。雖然要等，我們還是很樂意在火爐旁左下來，欣賞餐前香檳美酒。因為人品好，服務生幫我們安排在窗前的餐桌，邊和紅酒邊欣賞窗外的莊園，十分有情調。

The beautiful grilled succulent kingfish on a bed of potato mash and roasted garden veggie. Absolutely scrumptious!
嫩滑的烤鲹鱼配上香濃薯容，加上黃油烤田園蔬菜。色香味俱全，賣相十分精美，好吃得不得了。

Completed by the famous English Dessert "Eton Mess" with strawberries, meringue and cream. It taste so beautiful with the magical touch of honeycomb and strawberry sorbet. We were surprised about the generous portion too. The named "mess" is true to itself. Although, you know that we can't expect high on the appearance for British food.

@myday 選擇餐後的甜品伊顿麦斯（ “Eton Mess” ）為晚餐劃上完美句號 。伊顿麦斯本來是傳統的英式甜點鮮甜水果配上輕盈的鮮奶油(Cream) 和蛋白酥(meringue）。創新的加上了鬆脆的焦糖蜂巢脆餅（Honeycomb）和草莓雪葩( Strawberry Sorbet) 材料豐富，份量稀罕的大，味道還真真沒話說，與其名約Mess形象上看上去還挺亂的。不過呢，對於英國事物來說，你懂的，就是對賣相不可以要求太高。

I Chose a slightly more elegant looking dessert than "Eton Mess". The Coconut Panna Cotta was​ beautifully presented with flowers, mango sorbet, and the burnt meringue. Absolutely delicious. We were seated on a table nex to ​ the windows with the fabulous view over the garden.

身為外貌協會的一員，我還是選擇顏值高的椰香意大利式奶凍，配上芒果雪葩和稍微烤焦的蛋白酥(meringue），味道真是一流啊。

The next day, the had the continental breakfast Joseph Restaurant before we head off to the Werribee Range Zoo.
翌日過後，我們來到同一個餐廳享用早餐，準備前往大私宅參觀。

We even played a game of snooker at the library on the second floor.
我們還在酒店二樓娛樂室來了一場桌球台上的決鬥。

We had loads of fun at our Mad Hatter's Tea Party with the gigantic​ tea cups!
我們就如愛麗絲踏進了夢遊仙境，復古地來到了瘋帽子先生邀請的瘋狂茶聚。

We spend​ a small entrance fee to visit the heritage building which was once a private mansion in the 19th Century.

花了個小小門票我們進入了一被政府收購的華倫比私宅。

The next day, we got up early to check out the importer African wild life.

翌日，我們一大清早前往動物園參觀由非洲進入的野生動物。

Finally, ​there's the iconic Australian cockatoo. 我們終於看到了澳洲國標鸚鵡先生。

Towards mid-day, our unquenchable thirst for hydration let us storm to the Shadowfax​ Winery​ in less than 15 mins driving from the Werribee​ Range Zoo. The restaurant was completely packed,​ the ambiance​ is though amazing with the live music band. We were lucky to get a seat in front the window for a brief 30mins before the reservation​ becomes​s active for the next customer.

我們開始渴了才發現要繼續幹步來到花勒比市內最近的Shadowfax舊莊用餐。餐廳內的現場爵士音樂讓氛圍烘托十分休閒。美食佳肴為我們美好的週末劃上了句號。

Nothing is better than a meat stew on a bed of potato mash on a cold winter day. It was though the first time I had it so beautifully with roasted pine nuts and shredded celery. 沒有比香濃燜紅肉和土豆泥在墨爾本冬天來得更保暖。松仁和西芹也帶出美酒的特別香醇。

@myday opted for his all-time favourite​: salt and pepper calamari. 椒鹽魷魚配沙拉才是@myday的最愛啊！

This adorable little girl was sitting outside of our window the whole time. I wonder what her dreams are...
這個可愛的小女孩一直坐在窗外，不知道她懷著真麼樣的少女夢呢？
