Long Island Noreaster Wind Rain Coastal Flooding Into Friday

Coastal Flood Advisory for Tonight's HIgh Tides. Widespread Minor Coastal Flooding Likely

Coastal Flood Watch for Thursday into Friday High Tides Moderate Coastal Flooding Forecast

Our noreaster is intensifying offshore and while it is out to the southeast it is not moving out to sea but will soon begin a counterclockwise loop westward. This will pin the low closer to the coastline later tonight into early Friday. Numerous advisories are posted for coastal flooding and wind, and the numerous high tide cycles involved with this storm could bring widespread moderate coastal flooding Thursday into Friday at high tide.
