Found a rare and exotic cobra Lilly plant on my way in the morning !
Cobra Lilly(arisaema triphyllum) - it's a endemic insectivorous plant species in western Ghats rarely found in moist and shadow forest. This plant grows around 12 to 26 inches in height with parted leaves and cobra like flower contained spadix. There are other local name for this plant like jack-in-the-pulpit, Indian turnip and preacher john.
Cobra Lilly is rediscovered in 2017 after 84years in western ghats of India. This plant is also known as the sign of monsoon. Hope it's going to be good monsoon this year..
good is well ✌
