I have a whole load of new exciting coffee arriving in the next few weeks, this Bolivia Cafe Yungas is a washed arabica coffee bean, grown at upto 1700m the coffee gives flavours of fruits including Apple, and floral notes. Growing mostly Typica and Caturra varieties of the coffee plant, consisting of 60% Red Catuai. The coffee is hand-picked when ripe, washed and fermented to remove the flesh before being dried on raised beds at the mill under the sun. The process this Bolivia coffee goes through develops it's unique taste.

Here are the beans ready to grind.

And then ground back into the Aeropress ready to brew.

IMG_6545.jpg

Adding hot water we get a lovely rich bloom.

IMG_6546.jpg

Ready to take the plunge, with the Aeropress you plunge down to force the water passed the coffee ground extracting more of the flavour.

IMG_6548.jpg

It's a lovely rich brewed coffee, full bodied - time to taste it.

A delicious, fruity Bolivian coffee. Now we can learn a little more about where the coffee is grown.

The greatest challenge we face on Steemit is getting our posts seen, I have always believed the simplest and best value way of doing this is by commenting on the blog posts of others, the more you engage people and interact with them the greater the chance they will visit your own blog and return the favour. Other then spending all my free time commenting on Steemit posts, I also distribute coffee roasting machines and also espresso coffee machines and roast my own Speciality Coffee Range. being one of the premium coffee suppliers Yorkshire including a wide range of filter coffee sachets

how many different ways do you like to brew?

I see your aero press, but what else do you use?
ever use an old percolator?

Thank you, I use commercial espresso machines, drip brewers and the Aeropress most of the time. We use a 1.8 litres percolator at work for staff coffee.

A fruity Bolivian huh? Are they usually more nutty? Bwahahahaha!

Posted using Partiko Android

Funny you say that, most coffee does have nutty hints - but the flavours really vary on how you brew it - and of course how freshly roasted it is.

Your coffee posts always get my mouth watering. I would love to get my hands on some of the coffee you've showed and described.

I'm going make some coffee now haha! Have a great weekend @c0ff33a!!

Thank you very much, I have so many varieties of coffee to go at. Hopefully @ecoinstant is going to help me get some blockchain coffee on the go for everyone to try.

Hi, @coff33a, been following you for some time and you've been one of my witnesses as well. Just dropping in on behalf of #PowerHouseCreatives aka #steemitbloggers to give you some love for being a supporter. And my doesn't that coffee look good! Puts my everyday coffee to shame.

Thank you very much, for visiting my post and supporting my Witness. This is a very fine coffee, although I have even more new and exciting varieties arriving in the next few weeks. I wish the Steemitbloggers good luck in the latest delegations poll, it was a shame they lost by so few votes in the last round.

How exciting, to try a new coffee! With fruity undertones, this sounds like a good one to sample! 😊

"...with women producers having the same rights and obligations as partners."

"They view the participation of women in the work place as important as their role as a fundamental pillar of the family home."

I admire the way the Bolivians view women. It is a shame that the rest of the Western World can't follow their example. 😕

Thank you very much, this really is a great coffee. And many of the coffee growing regions of the world have an inspired view of equal opportunities. I have dealt with coffee sourced through the Rebuild Women’s Hope foundation from both Ethiopia and Congo, and the foundation is spreading out to new coffee growing regions.

That's a delightful cup of coffee to enjoy : )

Thank you very much

Howdy sir c0ff33a! This is such a great post for coffee lovers! That coffee there sounds wonderful but I don't understand how it can have fruit flavors in it, how does that happen?

Thank you very much, coffee can have many flavours, fruits, sweet flavours like caramel, chocolate and a range of nuts. It all varies on where it was grown, the variety of coffee plant and how they process the cherries to extract the coffee beans from them. Finally to appreciate these delicate flavors you really need to brew the coffee using a drip filter or Aeropress.

howdy again sir c0ff33a! Well that is so interesting to me. I thought those fruit flavors and so on had to be infused into the beans somehow. Boy was I clueless! lol. Thanks for the great explanation. How is business doing, do customers anxiously await the new flavors of coffee?

That's some interesting information about the bolivian coffee, specially the way you explained it step by step how to brew it. I guess there must be some 100s of different types of coffees around the world and all with different taste.

Thank you very much, yes there are many different coffee growing regions, and each has many plantations that will grow different varieties of the coffee plant and process the beans different ways so the flavours are truly endless!
