Now I can pay for a coffee with Steem
{Unfortunately BitShares is still missing there.}

The eSteem App already has full wallet support and I thought that CoinPayments only was to be used by Merchants. And their App indeed has a POS {Point Of Sale} build in also. Yet, to my surprise it also has a Wallet build in. Supporting lots of dtfferent types of bitMoney {Also known as: coins, cryptos, digitalcash, smartmoney and so on.}
And amongst those Steem and Steem (Backed) Dollar! The App being available for Apple and Android and there is a splendid web interface. Only Nederish language missing, or so it seems, yet with the Point Of Sales it was in the native tongue of Nederland, for a part at least.
Also there are many merchant tools to integrate this payment system. Or to accept donations, for instance. Seems very straight forward in use. So I send a bit of Steem (Backed) Dollar {SBD} and after a short while it showed up in my Wallet at CoinPayments.
What to do with that little SBD?
Unfortunately the build in Shapeshift conversion service only can handle Steem. So that 30 cents worth of Euro, in SBD, just sits there doing nothing. Yet, if you have a way for me to donate that small amount, CoinPayments style, with a QR code on some webpage, let me know in a reply.
And I tried the donation form on a Wordpress page at Slick dot CF. Took a bit of fidling about, removing the 'TABS' helped and moving to donation button to the top. Choose to set payment in SBD and a list of different payments can be choosen.
And I'm realy thinking about supporting a good cause with this 'CoinPayments' method. Where the foundation will receive Euro on their bank account. For European countries there is CoinMotion support build in for that.

Steem and Steem Backed Dollar supported
With Steem also available for conversion by ShapeShift, build in by CoinPayments, makes this system a joy to use. All settings can be done on the Dashboard and it is very well secured.
Although I find it annoying to open my email to get the extra login code, it is worth the extra effort for security reasons. The backend User Interface {UI} for this Point Of Sales {POS} and Wallet system is really thought out well.
It works very intuitive, and it has the (?) buttons to click on for explanations. Clear and to the point. It is a breeze to set up a selection of prefered BitMoney types to be accepted as payment or for donations. And of course I selected Steem and Steem (Backed) Dollar {SBD}.
Works like a charm
Lots of choices there, get it payed to another account right away, convert it and so on. In what type of bankers debtMoney {DM} should it be set. Is there a discount or extra costs to be added? It is all there, even a maximum to be set. And there are internal wallets for all coins that are supported. These show up at the App and can be used in there for payments.
While another great thing about the CoinPayments App is that you can accept payments/ donations using it. All secured by a pincode. A cashregister in the back of your pocket, able to accept SBD and STEEM, how great is that...!? It does want two different Steem account addresses to receive Steem or Steem (Backed) Dollar. Only need with the ASAP {As Soon As Possible} selections this was notified. (Yet, I think this might be bug, withdrawels should work just fine.)
Weird thing, it wants different account addresses for Steem and SBD
Did not expect that
All in all this is quite a nice service. A lot of different easy to use merchant tools and a simple to use donation system. With the Apps for Apple and Android supporting the POS {Point Of Sales} and Wallet at the same time, this was quite a pleasent surprise. So far the best system I have come across for use with Steem and Steem (Backed) Dollar. Now the only thing missing there is BitShares. Or maybe another payment system will pick up the challenge and make it happen? Who knows, it seems the market is ready for it though...
Have a good one!
PS This is for experienced BitMoney {AKA Cryptos, coins, smart cash and so on...} users
