أعلن الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم "يويفا" أن الإيطالي روبرتو روسيتي سيخلف مواطنه بييرلويجي كولينا كمسؤول عن التحكيم في الاتحاد القاري، وذلك بعدما أعلن الأخير استقالته من منصبه لأسباب شخصية.
وتم تعيين كولينا (58 عاما) كمدير للحكام باليويفا في 2010 بعد اعتزاله للتحكيم في 2005. وحسب ما جاء في بيان الاتحاد القاري فإن "كولينا تمكن من تحقيق طفرات مهمة في التحكيم، كما أنه أشرف، بالإضافة لأوجه عديدة، على إنشاء مركز التميز التحكيمي".
وتابع البيان: "خلال فترة كولينا أنشأ اليويفا برامج للإشراف على الحكام وتطويرهم بهدف تحسين قدراتهم الفنية والبدنية والتغذية، بالإضافة لمعرفة الفريقين طرفي كل مباراة".
من جانبه، قال رئيس الاتحاد القاري، السلوفيني ألكسندر تشيفرين: "لقد قدم كولينا إسهامات كبيرة مع اليويفا من خلال نظرته وتفهمه والطريقة التي كان يدير بها المباريات. أريد توجيه الشكر له على تفانيه طيلة السنوات الماضية، وعلى ما قدمه لكرة القدم الأوروبية كرئيس للجنة الحكام".
بينما قال كولينا في أول تصريح له عقب القرار إنه "كان شرفا العمل كرئيس للجنة الحكام باليويفا خلال الثمان سنوات الماضية". وأضاف: " فخور للغاية بالنتائج التي حققناها إلى جانب زملائي الحكام، وداخل اللجنة. أريد أن أشكر اليويفا على الدعم الكبير للحكام خلال تلك السنوات، وأيضا كل الحكام على التزامهم الرائع"..jpg)
Kulina resigns from UEFA referee panel
EFA announced that Italian Roberto Rosetti will succeed Bayerluigi Collina as a continental referee after the latter announced his resignation for personal reasons.
The 58-year-old was appointed as the referees' director at UEFA in 2010 after retiring from arbitration in 2005. According to the Continental Union statement, "Collina managed to achieve important breakthroughs in arbitration and in many ways supervised the establishment of the Center for Arbitration Excellence" .
"During the Colina period, UEFA established programs to supervise and develop the referees to improve their technical, physical and nutritional capabilities, as well as to know the teams at each end of the game.For his part, the head of the continental union, the Slovenian Alexander Chivrin, said: "Colina has made great contributions to UEFA through his vision, understanding and the way he ran the matches ... I want to thank him for his dedication over the past years and for his contribution to European football as chairman of the referees committee "He said.
"It was an honor to serve as Chairman of the UEFA Supervisory Committee over the past eight years," Collina said in his first statement after the decision. "I am very proud of the results we have achieved with my fellow referees and within the Committee, I want to thank UEFA for the great support of the referees during those years, as well as all the referees for their outstanding commitment.""
