For the Thursday greens - a gorgeous tree from the Chicago Botanical gardens (this one was at the border of the Japanese garden)

I had the opportunity to visit Arlington Heights on a business trip - spending one day at the botanical gardens was well worth it.
I was positively suprised of the colorfulness of the park even though I visited in October.
These shots were taken with a Canon 650D & the EF-S 15-85mm lens

One of the things I miss from Chicago, I always bought the membership, this place is beautiful all year around, specially the Japanese Gardens :). Thanks for sharing.

Wow. They designed those gardens for the long views. That's so rare because it takes so much space. Those are impressive views. I really like the willows in the that last picture. That's not a common sight! And your photos really do justice to the landscape!

You're welcome! It can seem like a crazy place here, but it's a chance to see a new technology develop. And their market capitalization is so much higher than Tsu or other ad-based projects. It's great that you are finding familiar folks here!

I have only been one time to those Botanical Gardens, and it was two years ago. Isn't it amazing? The sheer size in a city that big really surprised me. I love the willows, so perfectly manicured and the Japanese trees (that is the best I can do!) Hope you had a great time there. Your pictures are awesome!
