Yellow Roses and the Six Pointed Star.

A piece of off-white silk linen, provided the background of this simple assemblage with subtly textured horizontal lines.

Tiny white stones were scattered to form a twelve pointed star: Radiating out in a loose formation from the centre.

Yellow roses were then placed upon larger stones, in the formation of an inner 6 pointed star: The perfect balance of an upward and downward triangle coming together.

The ascending triangle: Representing male energy and the elements of earth and water. The descending triangle: Representing female energy and the elements of air and fire.

Light residing in the centre of the six pointed star is said to stimulate the heart centre, unlocking the creative and healing power within.

Fourth Color Challenge.

About my work.

Relatively small assemblages or arrangements are constructed from flowers, weeds and plants, combined with other natural materials that I find in the local bushland or surrounding urban streets.

Wonderfulness ! ❤⚘🌷

Thanks you so much Barbara. The pale yellow roses had just started to open and were absolute divineness ~ From your word 'wonderfulness.' Love it.🌹 ❤ 🌹

Sometimes I'm not sure if a word already exists, because I'm used to invent some, so at the end I don't know anymore if it's a real or invented one...but nobody ever complained..loL....

oiseau ballons.pngHave a wonderful day dear lovely Ally ! ^_^

I LOVE words that aren't on everyone's lips ~ YET ~ It's always interesting how they can become popular ~ After about a hundred years, that is ~ And we start to accept them.

I was told by a homeopath that ~ Maybe I was slightly dyslexic. She quickly added: But don't worry. Most artists are slightly dyslexic.

All through my life, my creative words have been a great source of ridicule and I used to get quite embarrassed about it. But ever since that homeopath let me know that it can be just part of my right brained GENIUS ~ I don't mind in the slightest. More like ~ LOVE what comes when least expected and can laugh along with everyone else now.

LOVE this little wonkie now too Barbara. I wonder what beautiful thoughts the bird on her head is coming up with. Looks like she's seen something that no-one else has yet. And is getting ready to jump up and down to let wonkie know all about it. 🌷💛🌹💛🌷

that might be explain a part of the enjoyment we have to communicate together....because we love the words and don't fear to create with them, because we understand through and beyond them, because we grab the feeling that is behind the melody of the sentence...and that, even with the difference of language, even if my english is maybe sometimes not so usual...Do you speak a little french ? i have invented so beautiful words in french, I have many hundreds...!

Oh the Wonkie...you are so observant =)) I enjoy to see through your eyes ^_^
I draw the right hand wrong..lol...don't know where I had my head this day ;-)

Think it might Barbara. We can go beyond the technical in words to open out the creative mood. You have explained this so poetically.

A Wonkie can have her/his hand twist like an owl's head ~ Maybe? Wonkies are so flexible and creative.

I can understand just a little french, as we had french as a subject in the first few years of what we call 'high or secondary school.' I can't speak it ~ But always understand your lovely expressions. So happy and delightful.
