Recently, I worked with a wonderful Foundation called TeamImpact.
This pairs young children with devastating illnesses together with College Sports teams.
The teams Draft the young children, and spend time with them in hospital, at their homes, and at their treatments.
Kids who otherwise spend almost all day, every day with doctors and who are unlikely to ever experience a college campus or being part of a team, can be a part of something bigger.
The young men and women I met are amazing. Spending their time with young kids, giving of themselves and their time. The college men and women get as much from the experience as do the young children and their families.
