Recently I've been trying to learn as much as I can about this thing Steemians like to do called ColorChallenge. Still not sure I fully understand the concept, but what I've gathered so far is that you just post pictures with colors in them, and then you talk about that.
Tuesdays, I've learned, are for the color gray. So here's a picture of Turquoise Lake just outside of Leadville, Colorado. (Try to ignore the word turquoise for now, because this is Tuesday Gray, not Tuesday Turquoise.) Just look at those vivid grays grooving right there in the cracked concrete, smudging their way across that restless water, and mixing themselves up in the clouds above. Beautiful.
Next, here's a picture of fog (which is gray) kicking back and relaxing in the west (which is also gray, if you really think about it):
Crap - the trees got in the way there. Sorry. Let me try again:
There we go. I'd say that's more than enough gray to win this ColorChallenge. Can you win ColorChallenges?
Anyway, speaking of gray, here's a picture of Leadville:
Because lead is gray.
P.S. All that white stuff you see on the mountains fell out of a gray sky, so that counts, too.
You have some really nice photographs here. I especially like the first and fourth ones.
