Green is the color of life; green gives us life. Green is also the color of the Heart Chakra.
We have some strange trees in our back yard, thanks to the previous property owner's obsession with trying to grown shrubs and trees that "don't really grow here." Among them, a couple of Spanish Mountain Firs that otherwise only grow in a couple of areas of southern Spain, at altitude. They have these amazing thick needles that seem almost "alien," in comparison to the local spruce and fir trees.
