Moraine Lake is an astounding lake and I like it much more than Lake Louise which is the primary visitor spot. There are fewer people, the mountains are closer, the lake is a bit smaller, and the color is INCREDIBLE! Given more time here I would go peak bagging along the ridge line, but that will have to wait until the boys are old enough that I can run them with me.
The peaks from Left to Right:
Mt Bable, Mt Bowlen, Tonsa Peak, Mt Perren, Mt Allen, & I think Mt Tuzo. Mt Fay and Mt Little are hidden behind Mt Bable in the front left.

That is a superb photograph, really the kind of thing i would want to print out on canvas and hang on my wall. (without the fish eye effect or i would get dizzy lol)

Thanks. Yeah the damned goofy GoPro lens gives that walleye effect that is a bit frustrating.
It truly is an amazing place and well worth the trip to see. The whole area really, from Golden, BC to Canmore Alberta along the CAD 1 is an amazing place to experience.
