It's festival season in Southern California, and I've been to Tequila and Tacos, the Salsa Festival, and the opening of the Old Spanish Days in Santa Barbara. Here's a look at sugar skulls, or calaveras, offered by one of the vendors, including an indigo skull...at least I think it's indigo. See the one I mean? Día de los muertos is coming in just a few months, so I better pick one out to decorate with!
