Here is my submission for #colorchallenge Thursday, an Easten Box Turtle!
^^^This dude was so chill while I took his picture.
Love it when I can find cool critters in my back yard. This Eatern Box Turtle is fairly common in Pennsylvania, and seems to den up mostly in fields or on outer edges.
We had our fun and sent him on his way.

Cool, I had a pet turtle as a kid, had an outdoor area for it to hang out in, escaped once, but we found him a few days later!

We found a wood turtle recently, which is pretty rare around here, but I’m saving that for a future post!
