Color Challenge - Sunday

Bathed in sun light, these Purple Sea Stars huddle together in the shallows feeding on the micro organisms. The shallow water is teaming with life in the summer. Kelp and other marine plant life flourish while invertebrates and fish gorge on the bountiful food.

Capturing these kind of images can be challenging in the summer months in the temperate waters of the west coast. Visibility can be low so be patient, check you settings and review each image.
