Manchester Town Hall

Surprise, surprise, it was raining in England that day. So I took a shortcut through the Manchester Town Hall extension and was glad I did. Not only did I stay dry, but what could have been a boring walk through a drab administrative building turned out to be a pleasure to the eye .

      Thank you. I never got to see the old town hall though. I think it is closed for restoration until 2015 (!!!). Manchester is a great city. I loved its architecture.
