Hey folks, this is my contribution to the purple color challenge :)
And a bonus one, this lovely easter egg we made by applying parsley to the egg prior to the color bath.
This creates the illusion of a flower picture on the egg :)

I forgot to reply to you here, basically how this is done is as follows : You take an egg, you take a fine stocking/pantyhose. Put the egg inside of a piece of the stocking in such a way that the parsley is nicely kept against the egg. Then dip the entire contraption in the dye. You can see the mesh of the stocking on the purple part of the egg. Its really simple :)
