This is my entry for today's #colorchallenge Orange. This Tuesday #colorchallenge is initiated by @kalemandra.
This was shot facing the stern of the boat I had been working on at the time. We steemed for about 25 minutes to the mouth of the next harbor over and then set the net around a school of menhaden and laced up about 60,000 pounds of fish. That sunrise was still my favorite part of the whole day, soooo ORANGE!!!
Several hours after the sunrise when we had the catch landed, we had to call a second boat to carry the other half and we still ended letting a lot go. If you've never waded knee deep in fish, you should give it a go, it's wild.
