At present, on the Basur fish farm, the cultivation of Gold Fish, Black-Gold Fish, Comed Carp, Koi Carp, Angel Fish, Molly Fish, Cholril Fish and Platy Fish are being cultivated.
From here, fish production of 25-30 lakh rupees per year is being produced. There are four full-time workers. Basu Das gets 10-12 lakh taka from all the expenses of the year. In addition, he has set up two white fish farms in the area. The house is built in ripe houses.
Basu Das said, 'There was a lot of velocity in the beginning. There was no money. There is no one to be brave and confident. We started working with fear and fear. I could not think that would be successful. '
Basu Das brought pona from 15 days to a month from Kantaban. That fish started selling at the age of six months. On the thornbush again sold this fish. Two days a week the fish is sent from the farm. Fishes filled with plastic sacks, fish are taken in Dhaka by boat on a big boat.
Ayub Ali Khan, a fish seller of thorny aquarium, said, "Basu Das has achieved success by feeding colored fish. He has been fishing business with us for almost 12 years. There is a lot of demand for colorful fish. '
Basu Das said that in the winter season, the fish farm is affected by various diseases. Many times the fishes take the fish. Then there is a loss. It would be beneficial to get assistance from the Department of Fisheries. There is also the demand for this fish in the international market.
