Does combat sambo works in mma my answer is yes it gives you decent grappling skills for it's combination in various grappling martial arts like wrestling,judo,Greco-Roman wrestling,jujutsu and various russian grappling arts the problem with combat sambo is the lack of striking skill usually mma fighters with combat sambo background train themselves in different striking arts such as muaythai,kickboxing,boxing,kyoushin karate and others combat sambo by itself has savate savate is a really great striking art the problem is that the main focus of combat sambo is grappling anyway just look at fighters like fedor emileanenko and khabib nurmagomedov they are great fighters especially look their grappling skills just great so if you want to practice combat sambo I encourage you to do it thank you.
