What a wonderful movie. It was BANNED IN IRELAND on release. The Catholic Church got the government to ban it for blasphemy we only got to see in when it finally got to video on pirated copies smuggled into Ireland.
Finally, a few years later a cinema got the balls to break the ban and show it with lines around the block. This was around the same time (Mid 1980's) condoms were first sold in Ireland by virgin Megastore also breaking a condom ban.
