The problem with jwolf's post is the lack of logic in the argument.
1 Complaining can indeed create results. For example in the civil rights movement, Martin Luther King and his associates "complained" about segregation and eventually the system changed.
2 Point out flows does not equate with "complaining." Pointing out flaws is (one aspect of) critical thinking.
