Microsoft updates Win10 / Win11 sticky notes app with new window topping, copying notes and more

Sept. 11 - Microsoft Corp. issued a press release yesterday (Sept. 10) updating the stable version of its Sticky Notes app for all users with new features such as window topping.

Windows Start Menu entry point
After upgrading to the new version of Sticky Notes, users can launch the app from the Start Menu or Windows Search, and users can also pin its icon to the taskbar or Start Menu and use it like any other app on their computer. Attached is the image below:

Window topping

The new version of Sticky Notes now supports Window Topping, which means that users can pin Sticky Notes and have it always sit on top of any other application for a better multitasking and note-taking experience. To do this, click the pin icon next to the Close and Minimize buttons.

Copy Note

The new version of Notes also adds Copy Note, a feature that allows users to copy the content of a specific note, including images and text, and then paste it into oneNote or another application.
