Have you ever wondered why the hard disk drives in a computer start from 'C' and not from 'A'?

Earlier, Computers didn't come with an internal mass storage device, because they were very costly. So the A and B were reserved for Primary and Secondary Floppy drives respectively. Later on, floppy disks weren't really used but the first two letter remained assigned to them. Therefore, the hard disk had to begin with C.
