I accidentally formatted my external hard drive and I was extremely annoyed and I lost all my data on my extermal drive because I was an idiot! But I purchased a program called unformat available from www.unformat.com and I just used it today and I can say that I was able to restore all my important data and not even a complicated process either. If you want to recover deleted or lost data due to formatting then use this software because it works and I saved over $60 because I was tempted to use another software called EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard which probably also works but also costs 3x the price. Don't waste your money on overpriced software... at least spend your money on the cheapest available that works and I have tested that for you and I assure you that it works :)
