Really nice. I like the allegory.

The imagery of meat can be seen as conformity and the vegan butcher who personally refuses to conform but does so on a regular basis for economic self-preservation. I felt the vegan butcher was a great metaphor for the conflict many of us feel. The consumption of the meat represents embracing the state or "consuming" its narrative of authority.
