discard the persona of who you think you are.
wake up to the true reality of not knowing who you are.
It is impossible to know who you are as definable by language.
the real you beyond who you think you are is unspeakably wise,
impossibly eternal, and forever beautiful, ever self-renewing in the immediacy of Now.
this life is a but a transient shimmering curve of smoke.
this body is insubstantial.
this mind is but a storehouse of memories.
you have identified totally with your memory!
for if your memory were not, who would you be?
where would you be?
since time immemorial you were
and forever will continue as the infinite spirit unbeknownst to itself.
your life begins here. This moment Now aLone.
there isn't anyone. There is noone. But the One, the I we call our Self that transcends our selves.
all memories of the past disappear, including all knowledge of thyself.
fall out of the illusion of permanence.
fall into the immediate eternity of the present.
the abyss beckons. You are that abyss. the void.
that Infinite endlessness of space,
the bottomless, timeless, and boundless universe,
that is the Real You.
transcend your self-imposed limitations.
You are the eternal for awhile and forever.
the mysterious Unknown IS un-rememberable AND un-foreseeable, because it's REALLY YOU.
my eye cannot see itself,
this finger cannot touch itself,
and fire never burns itself.
you are that which is beyond all conception whatsoever.
beyond all thought-forms of symbolic identification you Are.
never can you turn your own lens of consciousness back on its source.
it is its own source.
just as fire is its own source of heat. The fire itself isn't hot.
the fire becomes hot in relation to a sensitive organism.
so consciousness cannot wrap itself around itself.
you don't know who you Are.
that's why you can afford, as a perfectly divine disguise, putting on the mask of who you think you are.
