Defining The Consciousness Movement...

I concur. I feel consciousness is an increasing awareness in the present moment. How much more can we be aware of? The only place the past and future exist is in a thought in the present moment. What are we filling our present moments up with? If we are feeling them up with fears of the future and regrets of the past we are not consciously with awareness living in the present moment. I feel that sometimes that's the reason that people escape from those fears and regrets with alcohol and drugs. That gets them into the present moment but in an unconscious way. It is much better to be in the present moment raw and aware. In spite of fear. There might be much fear in being conscious. Security and the lack of fear is actually more unconscious and leads to more unconsciousness. Like the past and the future not being real, security is not real either. Security does not truly exist. We live in an unsecure universe. Being conscious and aware of fear and acting spite of it, is being alive in the present moment. I guess that defines an adventure! That is the way I prefer to live, a conscious adventure!
