American Whistleblower Edward Snowden, who was taking asylum in Russia, was reported dead by his mistress. It was also later confirmed by his wife. Mainstream news sites in Russia and in the West never reported his death.
His death is reported by MKRU, an independent news/blog site after the Whistle Blower registered a dead man's switch, an automatic encrypted switch which functions by itself when the owner of the site doesn't anymore logs in on his site.
The news item reported that Mr. Snowden was stabbed with a knife by a drunkard in a night club in one of the republics of the Russian Federation. He was accompanied by his mistress during that incident.
