Joe Rogan's Best Side Is That He's A Good Friend

So, I think Joe Rogan is cool; sometimes he says some stuff that I think comes from a place of confirmation bias, but most of the time he makes decent, logical sense. I like him and I like a lot of the stuff he talks about. More than anything, the thing I like about him most is he really cares about his friends, or makes it seem that way. I was watching a video with him and Eddie Bravo talking about Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell and Eddie was trying to speculate on conspiracies surrounding their death. Joe didn't want to talk about it.

You could see in his face and hear in his voice that he was viscerally bothered even by the subject, let alone speculating on it, knowing full well that Chester could have just killed himself. Joe showed that he was being incredibly respectful to a friend and, even more so, he showed how much he cares about his friends in general in the way he handled it with Eddie Bravo, who he is also GREAT friends with. Joe didn't want to explode at Eddie, despite the fact that Eddie was really bothering him by trying to talk about it. He just somberly kept firmly attempting to stop talking about and have Eddie stop until they could leave it alone. Joe's a good friend.

Joe Rogan does a few really good podcasts with Andreas Antonopoulos

Thanks! I'll have to give those a watch! :)

To his credit, Joe is a good interviewer and the fact that they're 3 hour chats really helps. However, I think he's two faced as fuck when he acts like buddies to people's faces (Alex Jones and Stefan Molyneux) but makes digs at them or trashes them to other guests to ingratiate himself.

Yeah, he definitely may do that at times and he has shown me some not so pleasant sides of himself before, but to be fair those aren't with his REAL good buddies, but rather people he is on good/friendly terms with from a business relationship standpoint.

What happen to reason and logic, if everything looks like a conspiracy to someone then nothing is true? Bad reasoning and logic..

Yeah I like Joe too! He publicly apologized for interviewing Daniel Cormier when he was visibly upset and disorientated following his loss to Jon Jones. He said that he really cares about Cormier and felt horrible for putting him in the spotlight in his vulnerable state.

The fact that Rogan publicly apologized shows his compassion and willingness to admit when he is wrong. I have always seen Rogan as a balanced dude who is trying his best to do good in the world.

Agreed!

I am addicted to his podcasts. Two of my favorites were with Alex Jones and Neil deGrasse Tyson. They were pretty epic.

Yeah, I saw a good one with Neil deGrasse Tyson and I bet the Alex Jones one must have been good!
