I love the Constitution. But there are some who don’t love the Second Amendment. There’s evidence to suggest our federal government is one such entity.
For the last four years now, extremist patriots have been blogging on the deep net about the Department of Homeland Security’s large ammunition purchases. Early in 2013, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued an open purchase order for 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition to distribute among the agency’s 100,000 peace officers.
This admittedly looks bad. That’s an astonishing scale of ammunition buying. Why is so much ammo necessary for homeland security?
Well, even if you’re opposed to your people having the freedom to bear arms, you can’t exactly change the Constitution. There are, however, other ways to go about disarming your citizens.
Perhaps you’ve noticed the ammo and gun shortage across the country in recent years. Shops and shooting ranges are rationing everything. The shortage has become so severe, gun retailers have had to publish explanations. Some of this can be attributed to an increasing number of private citizens purchasing more firearms in preparation for tougher gun control measures. But the reality is the DHS and other government agencies are buying guns and ammo like they never have before. This is one of those things that make you go “hmmmmmm.”
Are these purchases being strategically conducted to deny the American people access to ammunition? Indirectly but effectively suppressing our Second Amendment rights?
Some have even gone so far as to suggest the DHS is buying so much ammo in preparation for a war against the American people. This idea isn’t as far-fetched as you may think. 1.6 billion rounds of ammo is enough to wage war against the general public for about 7 years.
Even if the government isn’t preparing for war against their own people, at the very least the excessive buying of firepower indicates they are preparing for civil unrest, which is cause enough for concern. It is also a distinct possibility the government is secretly, sneakily trying to disarm us by buying up unprecedented amounts of ammo until citizens can’t even buy ammunition anymore because the government is snaking it all.
The DHS ammo grab theory is no longer a conspiracy, it’s a reality. There’s now ample evidence to suggest our Second Amendment rights might be silently taken away as one by one, the feds buy up every last bullet. This is very alarming, and historically is a major cause for concern. Hopefully this concern is shared by our elected officials as well as our military and law enforcement agencies. Things like this which start out as conspiracy theories tend to become reality before you know it, if they are ignored.
