Why Were Gulf War Fakers Never Punished?

This girl gave crucial testimony which contributed towards shifting public opinion of the first gulf war. It was a lie.

She was in fact appointed by a PR agency. Her lines were scripted. She defamed the Iraqi soldiers with lies about babies being torn from incubators and killed. And her words directly contributed to the deaths and massive destruction seen in the middle east.

Why is she, at the very least, not in prison?
