So you have probably heard about what conspiracy theories are, know a few, or are and enthusiast like me. I love them and decided to create a series on my Steemit revolving around them. Conspiracy theories scare me to the point I can't turn my light off to sleep at night and make me turn in fear there is something behind me. I love it but they are very scary and leave me wondering if things are real or if they are just an illusion for example. Today I only thought it was fitting to start the series talking about .... The Illuminati.
The illuminati is supposedly a secret organization that controls the world and is looking to create a one world government. There final goal (supposedly) is to create the new world order that has no national boundaries and dissolve peoples identity's.
Ages ago on May 1st 1776 was the (proven) first meeting of The Order of the Illuminati. We think it didn't consist of many people across the globe, because it only consisted of 5 people. They pledged obedience and swore to keep it a secret. The group grew over time more and more.
The Illuminati has been talked about for centuries. The original group was said to have stopped existing after the 18th century. The first group was exposed and some of the conspiracy theories about them were proven to be true.
The Illuminati has some pretty famous (thought to be ) members, which include Beyonce, Jay Z, Kanye West, and Rihanna to name a few. They are supposed to take peoples minds off what the Illuminati doesn't want people to know. Jay Z's famous "diamond" is supposed to be representing the Illuminati.
HG Wells was a genius man who predicted the invention of lasers, the moon landing, and genetic engineering but also predicted things that didn't happen like an alien invasion and time travel. He also claimed there was a secret society that controlled peoples minds and the existence of humans.
The famed Illuminati symbol is seen in many popular shows and movies. 
The Illuminati is (said to be) responsible for the JFK assassination, the red scare in America, Satanic abuse panic of the sixties, and the battle of Waterloo. But these days the Illuminati is supposedly blamed for everything.
This was for fun am not saying these were true they are just theories not ment to hurt anyone or any company

@m4deline I'm new to steemit and can't figure out how to comment. But I want to say, the main thing to remember when looking into conspiracy theories, is to stay open minded. If something resonates with you, than it's probably true!

Very difficult topic. I think there might be some truth to it and yet again a lot of disinformation. It is important not to jump to conclusions and particular not point finges at certain groups of people often associated with things like that. This would only lead to seperation. The question is what can we do about it? I believe living a good live and being a good, open minded person makes all the difference in the world.
