I fault Trump, among other things, for his actions and inactions on January 6th of last year. I believe his behavior on that day was so egregious that no one should ever vote for him again. Trump sought to undermine the constitutional order for the selection of the president. (And I write that as someone who voted for Trump in 2016 and again in 2020 -- without regret, given who his opponents were.)
I fault Biden, among other things, for his actions and inactions regarding the execution of our nation’s laws regarding immigration. And I believe that Biden’s actions on immigration also tend to undermine the constitutional order.
Both Trump and Biden, in my opinion, have failed to uphold the Constitution and to fulfill their constitutional obligations – not in a wholesale fashion, but with regards to specific matters of great importance to our nation.
