CONTAINER CHERRY TOMATOES - WHY IT´S FUN TO GROW AND HARVEST

Dear Stemian Friends,

Want to get rid of stress after a hard day? Plant tomatoes in containers and watch them grow from a newbie coming from the garden center or sow your own seeds... It is really true!!! My reason of making use of container is that I have a small backyard and the slugs are a menace to my vegetables.. overnight, they can be devastating. So what I did, is to plant my veggies up in the terrace each season where the slugs can´t reach them. I discovered that it´s more fun to have them in containers than on the grounds.

You don´t need to have green thumbs to grow such wonders of nature... what you need is a container huge enough to grow one, good soil, good fertilizer, and some cane sticks to hold the branches... The cherry tomatoes can grow up to two meters high.. But there are also smaller varieties that produce many fruits.

I always grow 2 newbies each year. They say you have to talk to your plants so they bear more fruits... and that´s what I do, yeah... talk to them! So you will see as a result they grow healthier and are not inclined to have parasites.

My cherry tomatoes are always thirsty, so I water them in the morning and in late afternoon... You can just imagine how they grow so tall in such a container. Give them feed and never let the soil get dry and you will be rewarded with so much to harvest!

The crowning glory is when you harvest, it gives so much satisfaction and you are always stress free from a hard day´s work no matter how stressful your days were. So you might want to try planting some..
