Brand New Week, Brand New Company, and that’s gonna just get more Regular with Reviewhunt! :))

Imagine coming to a website at the start of a week to earn a bit more scratch crypto change, invest in a whole HUNT token ecosystem so that by the end of this year and at the start of 2020 you could be ready to BUILD and DESIGN your own product that you wanted to launch — that’s the potential of steemhunt/reviewhunt right now and nobody is talking about it, so let’s get into that today! :)

HUNT is not just a token, it’s a passport to a different advocate future!

Whoa, come on now Phil, reel the reality back in a sec, what you on about! It’s just crypto currency right? It’s just an erc-20 token! Heck it’s not even what was planned because it was meant to be STEEM powered with the SMT, sadly, that came and went — HUNT went on however, and you’ve probably not seen the complete PICTURE yet (roll on SMT’s THOU!)

I’m kinda talking about IDEAHUNT at this stage but why it’s important to be active and aware to what’s going down with HUNT ;)

The world of online video hosting is changing rapidly.

Established content creators are getting scared that the grand pubar (youtube) is gonna content strike their ass or just outta nowhere close down their channel — this has been a massive wake up call for many.

The smart ones have been using alternative means of supporting themselves and the video work they do using tools like patreon and even jumping complete platform like ninja did from twitch to mixer.

For many, crypto currency and tokens is not even on their radar yet — sure, a lot of people want to be in control of their community but aside from the services and skills they have they want to swap for fiat money to pay the bills and have a life they are struggle to make the switch.

Both youtube (Adsense) and steem (powerdowns) have this problem — youtube wants to make the advertisers happy and so routes advertisers friendly/popular/convertable traffic to other videos regardless how long other channels have been on the platform. ..

their is no such thing as legacy and platform loyalty to content creators — just like with gentrification, it’s out with the old, in with the new, push out the old so the new can’t know about how shit things ended up and the new people have spent a few years around to work it all our for themselves.

Steem has a similar problem with people powering down — people came in the high times when crazy posts would acquire crazy dollar amounts on posts, maybe that should have just been a sliding average over a month for engagement in a community rather than a per post amount.

Either way, content creators are looking around to how to turn this ship around, it’s near on impossible to reach out and work with a brand directly unless you are a massive channel and they reach out to you for the imagery and lifestyle content they want — they basically want your style on their product.

In the departure from many platforms like youtube and steem you’ll find a bunch of content creators heading towards other channels like lbry, d.tube (with it’s new avalon blockchain, still supporting steem however) and now review.hunt.town because for the first time you can work directly to be paid in a crypto currency.

No more waiting 30 days for Youtube and Adsense is going to be a game changer for big established you tubers and content creators — imagine if just 1% of the big you tubers had steam-engine frontends for instance, their own token, their own emission setup, a massive army of creators to work with some of the biggest brands in the world — kinda creator utopia if it was simply, clean and easy to setup.

Right now thou, it’s not and it’s not got that consensus layer either, so we wait to see what SMT brings from steemit — because even thou it was delayed, even thou they let go of 70% of the staff, etc etc — it’s still part of the reason why most of us stayed around, to see that fulfilled and delivered.

I see bright things ahead for the underlying blockchain technology and over time with MIRA and our own condenser frontends we can literally setup our perfect own little slice of the web, I’m seriously looking forward to those times where we can blend together all the good parts we want for our own tribe on the web, our own turf, our own little patch in the cloud!
